R. P. Epilepsy Foundation (RPEF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH-certified) clinic, led by a board-certified neurologist, Dr. Sumit Verma, opened doors to families with children with epilepsy in Tucker, Georgia on January 1st 2025.
The clinic is conveniently located close to interstate-285 near Northlake Mall in the metro-Atlanta area.
Patients and families can discuss their concerns, get a complete neurological examination, including EEGs and genetic testing. Treatments including medication and dietary changes are offered on-site. Safety counseling and seizure action plans are provided to prevent injuries.
The clinic days are on Tuesdays 1-4 pm and Thursdays 9-12 pm. Clinic appointments can be made via email or on our website. We encourage families having difficulty finding neurologists, no health insurance or struggling to reach out.
RPEF is bringing awareness about epilepsy with a mission to educate young people in the Atlanta community, as well as on-going targets to spread awareness about bringing neurological services to vulnerable families. Our outreach includes workshops for high school, college and medical students about seizure causes, available testing, treatment options and outcomes.
